Chello there, my name is Lindsey Poyar and I am a photographer based in Cleveland, Ohio. Born in Orange County, California, I moved with my family to the midwest when I was eight years old and have been here ever since. I graduated from a small liberal arts school, Baldwin Wallace University, in 2016 with a degree in Digital Media and Design and minors in Studio Art and Communications.
I am versatile in what I shoot; ranging from portrait, music/touring, event and wedding photography. Across all projects I focus on the unique utilization of color and light in my images. I have strong problem-solving and organizational skills that I am always keen to sharpening.
I co-opened the photo studio, Studio Pop Shell, in 2020 in downtown Cleveland and do most of my work in studio while also jumping on live music photography oppurtunities .
My esteemed roster of clients include AEG, Live Nation, Kool and the Gang, JORDY, Good Night John Boy, FWD Entertainment, JBL, and The Cleveland International Film Festival - to name a few.
When I'm not shooting, I'm usually found at a local coffee shop (iced caramel latte please?), thrifting, engrossed in a film, or planning my next creative shoot.
